Golden Plate Award and Certificate of the Most Innovative Iranian Product for HBM 4261A High Density Polyethylene

HBM 4261A high density polyethylene of Arya Sasol Polymer Company has received the Golden Plate Award and the Certificate of the Most Innovative Iranian Product from the National Iranian Product Innovation Competition.

Arya Sasol Polymer Company was granted the Golden Plate Award and the Certificate of the Most Innovative Iranian Product by presenting a new high density polyethylene grade, named HBM 4261A, with specialty application in manufacturing automotive fuel tank, at the 4th National Iranian Product Innovation Competition, on February 06, this year. This competition was organized by the Sharif University of Technology’s Policy Research Institute and sponsored by the Headquarters for Culture Knowledge-Based Economy of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology.

The Competition, held aimed at streamlining the institutionalization of the innovation culture as well as identifying the most innovative product of the Iranian companies, evaluated more than 500 innovative products in various product and service groups by applying Stage-Gate model. This model has been developed based on the success factors of reputable companies in the field of innovation and approved by international institutions, such as the American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC) and the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA).

It is worth mentioning that Arya Sasol Polymer Company is the only Iranian company producing specialized grades of high density polyethylene (HDPE) in gas phase using 1-hexene comonomer and has reached optimized product engineering and design, without off-grade production, satisfying the domestic need for the polymer used in automotive fuel tanks.
